Spring is in the air! And it's time to feel good.

Our household was brimming with activity this weekend as we celebrated my and my daughter's birthdays -- we're born one day apart!

No matter what birthday you're celebrating this year, it's always a great idea to take care of your brain.

That's because a well-cared for brain can learn, concentrate and remember better, and even keep you happier than an unhealthy brain.

So just how do you care for your brain? I'll tell you in this month's article, "3 Ways to Boost Your Brain Power!"

Warmly,

3 Ways To Boost Your Brain Power
(And Why You  Should!)

We don't usually give much thought to the 3-pound blob in our heads, unless there's a problem. But you should because your brain is calling the shots in almost everything you do including: how you feel, how you think, and how you act. So read on for easy tips to boost your brain's power to think and feel younger!

3 TIPS TO A YOUNGER BRAIN:

1. Drink Water. Did you know that your brain is 80% water? And just like a plant, it needs constant watering to stay healthy. If your brain gets dehydrated, it slows down and that makes it harder for you to learn new things, solve problems and even create memories. The solution? Drink water. Try for about 6-8 glasses of water or decaf tea a day.

2. Go For Blue. Blueberries, that is. Affectionately known as "brain berries," blueberries are a brain superfood. They boost your ability to learn, retain your memories and can even slow and reverse age-related decline. So throw some fresh blueberries on your cereal or make a smoothie with frozen blueberries.

3. Shake Your Booty. Physical exercise is like Miracle Grow for your brain because it gives your brain more energy and oxygen. So if you want a better brain, move your body. Start slow and work your way up to 30 minutes 3-4 times a week. That could include walking, dancing, running, swimming - anything that works up a bit of a sweat. Even heavy housework or yard chores count.
