Want Your Love To Last Forever?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I've got a tip for you to make your love relationships last forever. It all about your heart: no, not your loving heart, your beating heart. Turns out, when you and your mate disagree, your heart rate can jump to 100 beats per minute or more, and when that happens, you're likely to say all the wrong things. Things that you can't take back in the morning.
So if you want your relationship to be loving and lasting, never talk about your problems when you're really upset. Calm yourself first, then talk. Happy couples know this. That's why they don't buy into the old adage, "Never go to bed angry." That's because sleep is sometimes just what you need to calm that racing heart, so when you wake up the next day, things won't seem quite so bad. And that's good news for your relationship and for your heart.
Tip of the Month
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Heart pounding tips to make love last:

  • Step Away: Even soul mates get angry with each other. If you want to remain close even in those heated moments, step away. When you're obsessing or fuming about your mate's actions, take a break before talking about the situation or your feelings.

  • Calm Yourself: When you step away, find ways to bring down your heart rate. This can include going for a walk, watching television, taking deep breaths or involving yourself in any activity you find soothing. Once you're calmer, then you can talk.
