I Wanna Hold Your Hand
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Looks like the Beatles were on to something when they sang "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" over 30 years ago. Turns out, the touch of a loved one's hand during times of stress can boost your mood and your health.
Scientists recently discovered that women who hold their partners' hands during tough times have a dramatic drop in their stress levels. Hand-holding not only relaxes their bodies, but also alters their brains so they have fewer bad feelings. Even their immune systems work better.
Next time you're having a hard day, reach out and touch someone. Maybe The Beatles said it best when they sang, "When I touch you I feel happy inside."
