You Make My Heart Pound! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Love can make your heart race, but not always in a
good way.Even the most romantic lovers can disagree. But when anger causes your heart to beat over 100 times per minute, it’s almost impossible to have a helpful discussion with your mate. That’s because a primitive part of your brain kicks in causing you to fight or fall into stony silence. Maybe it’s no surprise then, that it’s not love that makes romance last; it’s how well you deal with conflict. Remember the old saying, “Never got to bed angry?” Wrong. Sometimes going to bed is just what you need to slow your heart rate and calm down. In the morning, it will be a lot easier to talk when cooler minds (and hearts) prevail.

Tip of the Month ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
How to Make Love LastNext time you or your partner overheat in a conversation, take a “time-out” until your heart rate drops. Here’s how to lower your heartbeat: 1. Take a walk 2. Watch TV 3. Go to bed 4. Breathe deeply in through your nose and out through your mouth several times.
